Family Picnic

Together forever,
toward the stars,
toward an interstellar civilization.

1. Idea

Instead of meeting on real battlefields, let us meet on the grass of a picnic.
To begin with, let us bring together two families of the world – the Commonwealth of Nations and the European Union – to celebrate what unites us: the joy of play, friendship, and care for the Earth.

Let us not fight for trophies, but for the shared future of those who will come after us.
Let sport become a language of unity.

2. Goal

👉To plant a forest together.
Each picnic and each match will have a clear purpose: the income will be used to plant trees on Earth, so that it does not turn into a desert.
It is our first step toward a future interstellar civilization – one that first learns to protect its own home.

3. First Edition

📍Scotland and Ireland

A two‑match event: football and rugby.
A meeting of the Commonwealth and European families in the spirit of a picnic – spending time together to build bridges instead of divisions.

4. Second Event

📍Poland and India

A football match and a new challenge – a cricket match.

Will continental Europeans accept the challenge and face the family of Commonwealth nations on a field unfamiliar to most of Europe?
Will they dare to try something new – to play a match of cricket?
This question remains open.

5. Third Event

📍Malta – Cyprus – Iceland

Malta and Cyprus unite two families – they belong both to the Commonwealth and the European Union.
Iceland is part of another European community – this is our next invitation: will you accept the challenge, Icelanders?

This time we will play football – the sport that connects people in these countries most deeply.
It will be the third stage of our dialogue – a picnic at the crossroads of unity, sea, and ice – another sign that the world can come together instead of dividing.

6. Symbol — The Heart of the Forest

Let a shared goal guide us – to save our planet from turning into a desert.
In one special place a “Heart of the Forest” will be created — a time capsule containing the names of participants in the Earth forest‑restoration project, located near Hadrian’s Wall.

This ancient wall – a scar that no longer bleeds but still remembers divisions – will become a symbol of transformation: a sign that we can heal the wounds of history through unity and action.

Let the heart of the forest beat there – in memory of those who will one day understand that the first step toward the stars was the desire to care for Earth, our shared home.

7. Message

One world, one destiny – family.
Together forever, toward the stars.

For every civilization that is to reach the stars must first learn unity, respect, and understanding.

Mission (almost) Impossible

Is it possible to organize a family picnic in Pakistan and Bharat (India)?

To combine the incompatibility.

If a family picnic can ever be organized in these two countries, the idea of family picnics will have served its purpose…
