toward an interstellar civilization.
Let us unite two families in the most beautiful way we can.
Let the Commonwealth of Nations family meet with the family of the European Union,
not on battlefields, but in places where the spirit of family picnics will prevail – where conversation and laughter are the language of peace.
Therefore, let us organize a dual match of friendship: football and rugby,
so as to connect these families as fully as possible.
At the same time, let us support the rescue of the forests of our planet.
Let us reverse the process of deforestation on Earth, before it is too late – before we turn it into a desert.
Let us join the project of saving the forests.
Let us plant a forest together, filled with the magic from within this planet.
Let this be the first step toward the future.
At the same time, let us build one of the pillars of a future interstellar civilization – one
that is capable of spreading life among the stars.
Let us remember all those who will come after us.
Perhaps our destiny is to wander among the stars,
and future generations will look back at this moment as we now look upon the Middle Ages.
Perhaps we will manage to overcome the problems of our still young civilization,
to learn how to transform barren worlds into places full of life.
Yet before that happens, we must take care of our planet.
Therefore, let us plant a forest together… to begin with.
