Open Letter to the People of the British Isles

The Gauntlet Has Been Thrown – Will Anyone Take Up the Challenge?

An unofficial football and rugby match between the Commonwealth and the European Union.

I am a child – perhaps an orphan – born of the divorce between the United Kingdom and the European Union, who wishes for these two families to be joined by bonds of friendship built on mutual respect and trust.

I dream of a sports team playing under the Polish / European Union flag at the Commonwealth Games. I know this is impossible…

That is why the idea of Family Picnic was born — to walk together towards the stars, towards a future interstellar civilisation that spreads life throughout the universe. Even though this is a project for thousands of years to come, I deeply believe it is our destiny.

An unofficial family gathering where the most important thing is to be together — to share time through a sporting event. So that we might leave future generations a planet blossoming with life, instead of one torn apart by internal conflicts and endless wars for resources.

That is the purpose of Family Picnic.

Any profit will be used to protect Earth’s forests, before our planet turns into a desert.

Let us connect two worlds…

1. Let us organise the first unofficial football match in history between these two families at the National Stadium in Scotland.

Family Picnic invites all sports clubs from the British Isles to take part and collaborate.
We invite coaches to help organise the first Family Picnic in history.
We invite players from men’s and women’s football leagues to join the first Family Picnic in history.

2. Rugby matches

Rugby games should be held regularly — once a year or less often — but consistently.
They should take place on the Isles. The best venue seems to be the city of Dublin.
