The Flame of the Iroquois was brought to the lands of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth by Tadeusz Kościuszko from his journey from America. The hero whose name was given to a mountain in Australia left behind a wonderful story. Failures in love led him to America. Where and there he became a hero. And his statue is located in West Point in New York. As a sign of recognition for the services he gave for Freedom.
However, for many Poles, Tadeusz Kościuszko is associated as the one who dreamed of a world in which everyone is equal before the law. Regardless of ethnic or social origin. His dream is intertwined with the history of the Iroquois. With what they believed in and what filled their hearts.
