Anglo-Saxons or Anglo-Celts?
Often, the inhabitants of the United Kingdom are called Anglo-Saxons, but this has little to do with reality. It is the same as calling Poles Polano-Pomeranians or Pomeranio-Masovians.
Of course, in the distant past, such a name made sense. However, in modern times it is completely wrong. Starting with the Saxons themselves. After another invasion of the British Isles, the Saxons lost power to the Normans, who brought their customs and language. Forcing many Saxons to leave the islands forever. There are different versions of this event. However, it is very likely that many of them went to Constantinople to enter the service of emperor.
The Normans, not being very numerous, over time assimilated completely with the local population. So the term Anglo-Normans is not very precise either. However, it should be remembered that it was they who started the fashion on the islands for the current titles of nobility under the name we know them.
So maybe the Anglo-Celts? After all, the Celts still live north of Hadrian’s Wall and on the western side of the island. And as we know, it was the northerners who took control of the entire island of Great Britain at the hands of James VI, who became James I.
The English have tried many times to conquer the northern part of the island of Great Britain, but they have never completely succeeded. Of course there were people like Cromwell and his era. However, this was only temporary.
And although the population gap between the north and south was getting bigger and bigger, the geographical conditions did not allow the southerners to have complete control over the north. It was the same with the Romans. This continued until the Scottish-Spanish conflicts, which had their origins in the Scottish dream of power.

The financial disaster and the prospect of bankruptcy of the north made the union with the south an option closer to reality than in previous eras. This led to the creation of what we call Great Britain.

In 1801 another union was formed, which we now call the United Kingdom.

However, the most important thing is what is in the heart. And the southerners, unlike those from the north and west, carry (carried?) the wind in their hearts. This meant that no ocean on this planet was/is their enemy, but rather an ally…
However you understand it…
People from the south who value more than their own lives their passion for traveling thousands of nautical miles just to see what lies beyond the horizon have paved a path that may lead us to a place where we will become an interstellar civilization based on the principles of respect and freedom of the individual in relation to state institutions (of course, this is just one of many options).
If you had any doubts about the relationship between the Angles and the Celts. Between the world filled with the magic of the forest and the wind blowing in the sails somewhere in the middle of the ocean, look at Boston tea. It is probably the best brewed tea in the history of mankind. Something that began in the druid forest and will become part of those who will traverse the cosmic ocean. On their way to the next star in the galaxy we call the Milky Way.

But will this save the islanders from fulfilling their destiny to the very end?
Hadrian’s Wall…
Like arrows from a drawn bow. Slowly each one will leave the quiver. Until nothing remains of the contents but the wrapper…
Until the next story.
Something ends, something begins…
So if the gods allowed us to travel through their land in our tiny boats, heading for the next star in this galaxy. Let us remember that the forest is the place from which magic flows to the surface of our planet. It is the key to the door. However, the key itself is of no use if we do not know where we are going…
And from the perspective of the universe?
It makes absolutely no difference. The energy and mass of the universe will not change at all. All it will do is change form. Take on a different shape. As it does all the time.
