Remus and Romulus, from whose name the city takes its name, wrote their names into the pages of human history, and those who came after them built a civilization of stone. Their inventions, such as concrete – forgotten for many hundreds of years in Europe – left an imprint on the matrix of our world. Roman law is applied in many corners of our planet. And though, like most empires, this one too collapsed under its own weight, yet after the fall of Rome, many nations wished to warm themselves in its glory, declaring themselves its successors…
